Business Owners and Managers Big Morning Out – Friday 26th October 2007

On Friday 26th October 2007, over 70 business owners and managers met at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre for a breakfast workshop providing high value insights and helping businesses gain that 'unfair advantage'.

The breakfast program:

  • Demonstrated how organisations can achieve a competitive advantage by understanding their industry position

  • Showcased cutting edge benchmarking technology for small to medium enterprises

  • Provided attendees with an ‘unfair advantage’ in assessing and improving business performance

  • Gave attendees a change to work 'on your business,
    not in it'

  • Provided attendees with business tools that will make a difference to corporate performance

Alan Payne

Steven Eager, Managing Director of Access Management Consultants, led the first session “The power of Benchmarking”, sharing valuable information about a brand new concept for businesses to gain a competitive advantage. Murray Wilkinson, a Director of WB Financial Management, followed with a short presentation on the advantages of benchmarking for personal planning. Our final speaker Alan Payne, General Manager of Mr Rental, presented 'How Benchmarking has improved performance at Mr Rental'.

Feedback from the event has been very positive, with attendees finding the morning a very valuable experience.
