Psychometric Assessment

Psychometric assessments provide a very valuable insight into the abilities, attitudes and personality traits of individuals and their behaviour in a work environment.

This information can be of significant benefit to business owners, managers or team leaders in a variety of work place situations including:

• recruitment of new staff
• promotion of existing staff
• team building
• conflict resolution
• performance benchmarking
• education and learning

It is critical, however, that assessments be conducted in a professional, non-threatening environment. This will enhance the accuracy of the outcomes and increase its value to people using this information in their decision making.

It is also important that people have an understanding of what the personal assessment results mean. Consequently, both people being assessed and those receiving the information should be properly briefed by a competent person.

Given the sensitivity of the outcomes from an assessment, the standard practice of CTAC is to ensure that all assessment results and reports are treated with the utmost confidentiality.
